How to create background process in your Android App?

In this video it shows the steps to create background process in your Android App. In this video it triggers the background process using a Alarm Manager which calls the background process repeatedly whenever it is triggered by the alarm manager.

In the background process for the demonstration purpose a ringtone is played for around 500 ms. Also, a toast message is printed to show/ display the execution of the background process on a regular interval.
